Network Server Specialist
Under general direction, the Network Server Specialist is responsible for a broad range of systems, security administration, and operations in a Microsoft Windows physical and virtual environment. Other duties include monitoring of security and performance of systems, systems disaster recovery, and end-user support. The Network Server Specialist configures, installs and upgrades personal computers, peripherals and related software and assists in maintaining the daily operation of all agency servers. Occasional weekend and evening hours are required to meet department requirements.
- Associate’s degree with course work in computer science and a minimum of two (2) years experience in computer support and networked technology environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with network devices, firewalls and routers, Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and 2012, Microsoft Exchange 2010 and 2012, and SQL
- Valid Ohio Drivers license with acceptable driving record and current vehicle insurance.
